Igodala was confirmed to be a minority shareholder of the Bay Area City FC at an event in San Francisco last Saturday afternoon, and the team agreed to pay a record $53 million military expansion fee.
It is not clear how many shares igodala holds, and the club also refused to comment on the matter.
Igodala said in an interview with San Francisco media: “We will do this well and I will appear in many competitions.”
