Liu Peng
Born in 1977, he entered Shanghai men’s basketball in 1995 and retired in 2002. After retirement, he successively served as assistant coach and head coach of Shanghai men’s basketball youth team. In the 14-15 season, he took over the heavy responsibility of head coach in the middle of the season. Under the guidance of Liu, the team entered the playoffs for two consecutive years in the 16-17 and 17-18 seasons, and won the third place in the regular season in the 16-17 season.
James Duncan
Born in Canada in 1977, he started his career as a professional player in Germany. After retirement, Duncan successively served as assistant coach in several countries and regions of the European and Asian Basketball Federation. In 2021, Duncan became the boss of Brisbane Bullets in the Australian NBL league.
Lu Wei
Born in 1985, he worked in Shanghai men’s basketball from 2013 to 2014 and from 2015 to 2019. In 2021, Lu Wei entered the coaching team of Shanghai long-time basketball youth team. In the past year, Lu directed the team to win the national U19 and U21 Championships, and was elected the best coach of the competition twice.
