Live Bar, June 6th Shanghai men’s basketball officially announced that the home court of the new season will move to Shanghai Gymnasium.
It is reported that Shanghai Stadium is located in Xuhui district, close to Shanghai Shenhua home stadium, the football team newly taken over by Jiushi Group. Shanghai Stadium is one of the large stadiums in China and was built and used in 1975. The main hall is round, 33 meters high, and the span of the roof grid is 110 meters in diameter, which can accommodate 18000 spectators.
The Shanghai team’s home stadium last season was the Oriental Sports Center, which can accommodate up to 18000 people. Oriental Sports Center has hosted NBA China Games and some matches of the men’s basketball World Cup in 2019.
