Live Bar, June 5th, NBA coach Association officially announced that Rick Adelman won the Chuck Daley Lifetime Achievement Award in 2023.
Adelman, 77 years old, has coached pioneers, warriors, kings, rockets and Timberwolves successively. He has coached 1791 games in his career and achieved a record of 1042 wins and 749 losses (58.2 percent).
Adelman led the Blazers to the finals twice, won the second best coach of the year four times, and was selected into the Hall of Fame in 2021.
Chuck Daley lifetime achievement award is named after Daley, the coach of the Dream Team in 1992. This award is to recognize those coaches who have served as NBA coaches for a long time and have outstanding achievements. Lanny Wilkins, Pat Riley, Jerry Sloane, Larry Brown and other famous managers have all won the award.
