Jabbar said to O’Neal, “I should have played 25-30 years if I had load management. I sat at home thinking about it. Every time the season ends, I take two weeks off, then I exercise my endurance, I promise to keep my figure, and I also practice my steps. To be the strongest player in my position is a challenge every year.”
Jabbar’s career lasted for 20 years and played 1560 regular season games in total, winning 24.6 points, 11.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.6 cap.
