Fultz was born on May 29, 1998 in Marboro, Maryland, USA. In the 2017 NBA draft, Fultz was selected by the 76-member team in the first round, becoming a 76-member Young Pioneer Team history following Doug Collins, allen Iverson and Ben Simmons were the fourth top performers. But on October 30, 2017, Fultz chose to suspend treatment for shoulder injuries. On February 8, 2019, the 76ers reached a deal with the Magic team and sent out Fultz to get Jonathan Simmons, the first round of picks in 2020 (from Thunder) and the second round of picks in 2019 (from Knights).
