Live Bar, May 28th recently, “Zen Master” Phil Jackson talked about Jordan in Rick Rubin’s program.
Phil Jackson said: “I told him that the ball would not always be in his hands in the future. He would not shoot 37 times per game. He would score 37 points in the future. We need to share the ball, everyone is helping him, and everyone has equal opportunities on the offensive side. However, Jordan’s reply was, ‘I can still win the score. It’s not difficult. I get 8 points in a single section and 32 points in each game. I can still be the score king’, I told him that since Rick Barry, the scoring king has not won the championship.”
Rick Barry won the scoring king in 1967 and won the championship in 1975.
