Nas said in an interview: “I am honored to be appointed as the coach of Philadelphia’s 76ers. This is a team with a long history and is located in a traditional city. Thanks to Josh Harris, David Blitzer and the team for giving me this rare opportunity. In the past five years, coaching this team has been an interesting challenge. Now, I look forward to coaching 76 people and doing my part for this huge fan group.”
Nas has been an assistant coach in the Raptors since 2013-14. In the 2018-19 season, nasus began to be the coach of the Raptors and helped the team win the NBA championship. He is the ninth coach in NBA history to win the NBA championship in the first season of coaching the team. In the 2019-20 season, Nass won the best coach of the year.
In the five seasons when Nas was the head coach of the Raptors, he achieved 227 wins and 163 losses in the regular season. He entered the playoffs in three seasons, with a total of 25 wins and 16 losses in the playoffs.
